noun
2.
good fortune; pleasure; contentment; joy.
Subjective in nature, it seems almost an oxymoron to try and define what "being happy" means. Nevertheless, we do. We keep trying. We try to recognize its symptoms in ourselves and, more often than not, in others.
In doing so, however, we forget that we're not seeing the full picture - just a filter of what others let out, mixed with the fact that we project various people into a hologramic picture-perfect person that is no more than a composition of our own selective imagination.
Ultimately, we tend to forget that, somehow, this pseudo-abstract construction always takes our most intelligent acquaintances out of the picture.
In the end, intelligence is the biggest thing that will keep ourselves out of it, too.
(if anyone tries to tell you otherwise, they're either lying or they're just not that smart.)
"Os ´burros´ são mais felizes."
